We are thrilled to welcome DAWES Design as our newest member of the NEWTW!ST family! If you have been keeping up with us here, (which you totally should be) you already know how much we have been lusting after the gorgeous new pieces from her collection.

I am totally enamored with each piece because there is such an effortlessly elegant thread throughout her entire line. Uncomplicated and stunningly beautiful, I can see these earrings being worn walking down the aisle or simply paired with jeans and a T- shirt. Her layering necklaces add new life to any jewelry collection and are equally fabulous worn alone or piled high with your other favorite pieces.

Each piece combines her love of ancient civilizations with what is happening right now in culture and design and is hand-made, fabricated and finished at her studio in rural Sonoma County, California. Dawes explains, “I try to let the material speak for itself. I strip the designs back to their essential components and in doing this they become very feminine, subtle and organic. I have built a consumer base that resonates with the simplicity of my work and are able to combine and collect styles from my different lines which express their own individual tastes, desires and lifestyles.”

The DAWES Design studio has been at the forefront of the green movement for years and only uses recycled gold and responsibly mined stones wherever possible in their work.  The company prides itself on making everything locally and sourcing using sustainable businesses that use recycled products.

We could not be more excited to share with you our newest ( and yes, local!) collection of leather goods! From buttery lambskin leather to hand woven Oaxacan wool rugs, these bags are simply incredible. Incorporating  ancient culture with contemporary style, these bags take any outfit to the next level.

Founded in 1981 in Eugene, Oregon, Will Leather Goods is a leading American men and women’s leather accessories brand recognized internationally for their use of high quality materials and excellent workmanship. What is the saying, “everything old is new again” well clearly that statement rings true with this trend! I have been seeing this look in many different forms all over the blogosphere lately and I cannot get enough of it! To me the headscarf just exudes a chic, confident vibe that feels both fresh and vintage!

While I think these three ladies look absolutely fab, they are lacking some serious jewels! I understand the headscarf is a statement, but adding some subtle sparkle would really take all three looks to the next level. Victoria Cunningham’s Diamond Disc Earrings are an absolute favorite of mine! Subtle and sweet, these add just the right amount of detail without being too over the top.

Jamie Joseph’s post earrings! A departure from her typically larger drops, these sweeties are oh so easy to wear and still maintain that one-of-a-kind quality we love about Jamie’s pieces!

“Deco fused with American Indian design. It seemed like a great combination since you can trace the lineage from American Indian design to 1930’s geometric patterns. I think the artisans here in the shop who paint the Lucite were initially daunted by the concept, but the hand-painted pattern on the Lucite came out beautifully.”

It’s no secret that here at NEWTW!ST we adore the look of oxidized silver. Not only is it an easy way to mix up your look, it also is so versatille and melds seamlessly with pretty much anything in your jewelry box. It’s  chic, easy and a cost effective way to add some incredible pieces to your jewelry collection.

I personally have always gravitated towards all gold pieces, I live in my Mizuki necklace, Jane Hollinger bracelet ( like this) and MJM ring, give or take a couple fun things on special occasions.

This new Melissa Joy Manning collection has opened my eyes to the light (or dark) of oxidized silver! I am totally inspired to add a few of these pieces to my personal collection. Sleek, sexy and totally cool these pieces all feel super effortless. I am completely in love with her bracelets and earrings and envision pairing them with the outfit above. With all the new jewelry coming in lately it’s hard not to want everything, but I think for my first oxidized piece of jewelry, I’ve got to get these, or maybe this… oh geez, I’m in trouble!
