Ever heard painting a room lavender has a calming effect? Well I don’t know if that is entirely true, but I like to think that color has a huge correlation to my mood.  That being said, Turquoise jewelry is like one big  fat  happy pill.  It seriously revives the most dull looking outfit and adds an unexpected counterpart to a wide variety of colors.  Another bonus is that is always manages to look chic in an effortless,  laid-back way.  I know some people think that it is more of a Summer color but I’m telling you, this is a definite year-round staple!  In Oregon you have to make your own sunshine (because get real it’s going to rain till July) so  I’m wearing these earrings, a yellow cardie with dark denim and yes, an abundance of turquoise and gold.
