Twyla Dill

When Twyla Dill was nineteen, she moved to Istanbul—a city where every street hums with history and beauty. One afternoon, her friend’s mother placed a tiny crochet hook in her hand and showed her how to make lace. That moment changed everything.

What began as curiosity became obsession, then devotion. Lace became her language. She started weaving stories into delicate threads—at first adorning leather and wooden circles, and eventually transforming those same patterns into fine jewelry.

Today, each piece is made in her Seattle, WA studio and begins with a 0.55mm crochet hook and a single strand of cotton thread. She crochets lace by hand, then captures every loop, knot, and texture in metal—preserving the softness of thread in a material meant to last generations. What was once fleeting becomes timeless, lace captured in time that will last many lifetimes.

Her designs are born from travel, love, and the people who inspire her. They carry the spirit of adventure, the touch of handmade craft, and the strength of metal. Every curve and stitch is a celebration of individuality—of what makes you you.
