Reading: The Sun My Heart by Thich Nhat Hanh. Mindfulness is described by Thich Nhat Hanh as “being aware of what is happening inside and around you in the present moment” and as a path to cultivate a sense of peace in one’s self and in the world.

Doing: walking! As the days grow longer, we enjoy just being on our own two feet and focusing on the sounds and smells around us. Getting out and about helps to re-focus our energy and get grounded. Exercise for mind, and body!

Eating: creamy curried hummus! A fun spin on classic hummus, this curried version is super easy to make and is the perfect springtime snack. Enjoy with crackers or veggie slices like cucumber or carrot, on wraps and salads, or simply on its own!
