Beauty of the Everyday: Source and Tradition

.
Designed by Alexandra Vaga Fallon and entirely handcrafted in the United States, Source and Tradition‘s porcelain treasures are simple yet elegant, rustic while refined, and perfectly imperfect. Meant to sit in two worlds simultaneously, one of beauty and one of function, each piece of high fire porcelain is made to order from origin to finished work. Slab-pressed and pinched with love, each and every piece is completely unique and one of a kind, revealing markings of natural linen and the touch of the artist’s hands.

“I am interested in the small interactions of everyday life surrounding mealtime, the relationships these actions facilitate, and their link to deeper cultural traditions. I find endless inspiration from the coastal environment that surrounds me, my own cultural heritage, and in the baking and breaking of bread.”
— Alexandra Vaga Fallon

Let Alexandra’s work serve as a subtle reminder of the simple beauty that surrounds us in the everyday, and the joy of this sweet life.
